Project Manager
Title: Project Manager
Reports to: VP of Engineering
Position Purpose:
Perfect Market is seeking a full-time project manager, who has a strong GUI design and product management background, and is interested in managing end to end customer deployment projects. The successful candidate must have significant experience in deploying and building cross-browser, consumer-oriented websites and applications, and is strong in the following areas:
- Organization and documentation skills (OneNote, MSFT Project, PowerPoint).
- Technical skills: possesses solid background in GUI design, mockups, content management, application programming, database, system design and QA process.
- Knowledge base: good understanding of Internet and client/server architectures and web publishing.
- Good communication and leadership skills that motivates team to work in the most efficient manner.
- Solid client management experience to communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate the most proper solutions.
Requirements/Qualities:
- Creates and executes project timeline plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Sets and manages client expectations.
- Manages day-to-day project tasks and scope and communicates to clients effectively.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies our development methodology and enforces quality standard.
- Minimizes our exposure and risk on projects.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and updated appropriately.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
